I've been drawing and creating since I was six years old. From an early age, I found joy in expressing my creativity through art, whether it was sketching, painting, or eventually graphic design.

One of my earliest memories of design comes from when I dreamed of playing in the NBA. Like many aspiring basketball players, I imagined having my own signature shoe and personal logo. I would spend hours brainstorming ideas, sketching logos, and designing what I thought my future brand would look like. As I got older, I realized my dream of playing professional basketball wasn't going to become a reality. But I also realized that I truly loved the creative process of designing the logo, the shoes, and the brand behind it.

As I grew older, I went through a period where I lost my passion for drawing. That changed during my sophomore year of high school when I enrolled in a media design class. The class introduced me to an entirely new world of digital design and opened my eyes to the endless creative possibilities within graphic design. I learned industry-standard software, explored new design techniques, and discovered how powerful visual communication could be.

From that point on, I looked forward to going to class every day. The more I learned, the more confident I became that graphic design was what I wanted to pursue. When it came time to choose a college major, the decision was easy.

Today, I am proud to have earned my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design with a concentration in UX/UI Design from North Carolina A&T State University. Throughout my time at A&T, I continued to refine my skills, strengthen my creativity, and develop a deeper understanding of design principles and user-centered thinking. Every project challenged me to think critically, solve problems creatively, and create work that is both visually compelling and purposeful.

What started as a childhood hobby has grown into a lifelong passion and a career path that I'm genuinely excited about. I love the challenge of turning ideas into meaningful designs and constantly pushing myself to create work that not only looks great but also communicates effectively. I'm excited to begin my professional career doing what I love because I believe that when you're passionate about your work, it never feels like a burden, it feels like an opportunity to create, grow, and make an impact every day.
